Description jmills 2002-11-12 15:36:55 UTC
The attached chart is drawn incorrectly.

it's is a stacked chart. in this case a combination line/stacked
but it fails for a simple stacked chart too.

for instance the data in columns C1 and C2 is really
the same, but it is drawn differently.

I think that the values 0 or negative are always being drawn from the
to the bottom axis of the chart.

This also fails on StarOffice 6.0 and 6.1EA2

When I opened the file, there was a zero in cell C4. When I removed
the zero, both graphs displayed the same. If there was no zero in the
original, reopen. Otherwise, this is invalid. To computers, I
believe null (empty) and zero (number) have different values.

Sorry, I disagree.

Why do you beleive that it is correct to draw a bar
from 0 to -25 when the input value is 0?

I accept that "zero" if different from null/no value,
but not the the extent of displaying incorrect data.

Please justify the "resolved" status.
