Description kingshome 2003-01-04 17:38:03 UTC
This has been tested with 1.0.1 and 643c with the same results.

I have met a problem with secondary axes in calc charts.

As an example, I have a simple table consisting of 3 rows and 3 columns:

	May	August	Nov

Units	2176 1967 2072

Cost	£136.00	£127.00	£130.00

If I create a chart and take the first row and first column as labels and the

data series in rows, I get a simple bar chart of my electricity use and cost per

quarter. By default, the y-axis will be scaled for the first row. I wish to

have the cost scaled on a 2nd y-axis, so I right-click on one of the

columns representing the cost, and in the resulting data series dialogue choose

the ?Options? tab.

On the options tab I can choose to have the data series aligned to the primary

Y-axis or the 2nd Y-axis. I choose the 2nd Y-axis and click on OK.

At this point, the 2nd y-axis appears, the bars representing data series

against ?cost? resize to match the scale of the secondary y-axis, BUT the data

series against ?units? disappears completely!

If I try right-clicking on the chart and selecting ?Modify data range?, I can

see that the original data ranges are there ? but the data range against the

primary y-axis does not appear on the graph.

I can return it to the original setting by rightclicking on one of the bars and
resetting the axis to the primary axis. The 2nd y axis is still present, but
the data in both rows use the primary axis.

I take it.

The Priority is a little bit to high, and the Issue type is an
