1.  Open new Spreadsheet.
2.  Enter :
Current Job Search Activity	
People Connections	         5.00%
Responding to Advertisements	 90.00%
Approaching Companies Directly	 5.00%
3. Highlight 3 rows and 2 Columns (6 cells total)
4. Menu-> Insert -> Chart
5. Select Pie, hit Next
6. Hit Finish

I see the effect with "JobSearch.ods" and "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE[OOO310m19 (Build
9420)]".

But:
Not reproducible when I create new charts in "JobSearch.ods" or my own
Spreadsheets. 
When I copy / paste one of the charts in "JobSearch.ods", the problem will have
vanished in the copy.
When I resize chart to double size and resize back, the problem will have vanished
