Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 11561
Changing text area in the x-axis
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:19:28 UTC
When creating a chart, you are unable to increase the size of the text file in the x axis. When trying to increase the size you get the standard circle with a line through it. Should be able to decrease font if needed and then increase the text area so all the word will appear rather than the first 3 char.
I take it
Sorry, can't reproduce. Please give me an detailed step by step introduction. But at first have a look at Format-Axis-x Axis Page Characters (in Chart inplacemode). That's isn't it what you search for?
This is what the main spreadsheet would look like except many more rows. Feb 03 Feb 10 ACCOUNTING ADMIN 15 5 ADMITTING 8 13 AP 1 AUDIOLOGY 2 3 Autistic 2 BILLING 11 3 The graph would only show the A or A Or Ai D C Ul M C Dogy at the bottom X axis and would never expand to the full name. I decreased the font size and it still remained proportional. I click on the Chart, then clock on FORMAT Axis X-axis OK and it will highlight the words in Green boundry markers, but when you try and grap hold of the middle marker to pull the box down, you get a circle with a line through it. I am on version 1.0.1. thanks
It´s not a bug, it´s an support request. Tip: Format-Axis-X-axis Tabpage Label contains all what you need. For further information please use only the Mailinglists.
