Description tjohn 2011-01-16 20:51:43 UTC
Show stopper apparent defect.
In calc, attempting to plot 5 series of 1322 points each to a common X axis the
last points plotted on the right are at approximately 1275 points, as near as I
can estimate. File has been saved in Excel format as it must be for my delivery.
File has been repeatedly saved, closed and reopened with no improvement. XP
shows ~700 MB of free memory. All OO files were closed and OO restarted. Same
problem.

Further, the ability to control the top to bottom display of each plotted series
is broken. I am unable to adjust the layering of each plotted series for the
visibility I need. Neither a right click on the series to use "Arrangement" nor
the up/down arrows in the "Data Ranges/Data Series" dialog box will adjust the
positioning in any intelligible way.

I needed to update these charts for a presentation tomorrow. This is totally
destroying all my good works trying to replace Excel with OO here at work. Not
ready for prime time? Very sad.

See also my issue #110172. This time the 110172 problem is not simply reversed -
it is broken and I cannot arrange for the top/bottom display sequence I need.

My error regarding the number of points plotted. Text in the X axis. What a
waste of time because of my data entry.

However the issue with controlling the layering of the data series presentation
continues to be a major problem. I am only able to obtain the needed ordering by
trial and error using the up/down arrows in Data Ranges/Data Series. I will be
able to have what I need for presentation tomorrow.
