Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19493
Chart size for printing.
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:18:35 UTC
I am in the process of working on a large number of charts for presentations and I have come across this annoying bug. If I try to set the size of the chart for printing in the Page Break Preview, it doesn't seem to have any real relation to the way it is printed. - Printing a chart in Landscape with both headers and footers using letter (8.5X11). - Page layout is set with margins on all sides. 0.49" R and L 0.57" T and B - First I set the size of the chart to a size less then the paper size according to the status bar. - Ensure that the margins are outside the chart otherwise it will be cut off. - Check File/Page Preview and the chart will be smaller than the page or size from the Page Break Preview. This isn't consistant between spreadsheets. Three diffent spreadsheets, all with the same type of data and format for charts and all created in version 1.0. For an almost same size of full page printout for the chart the page sizes are: 1 - 10.88 x 6.94 2 - 12.70 x 8.26 3 - 14.62 x 10.12 The following were all created in version 1.0 Number 1 was created from a template and modified. Number 2 was modified from 1. Number 3 is a template that was modified from the original template for 1. It is being created for quick analysis of future data. Creating a new chart in 1.1 works as expected. I have only tried one chart.
Sorry, can´t reproduce. Pls attach the doc and give an Step by step description. Thanks
Created attachment 9808 [details] Zip file of three examples of problem
I have tried to recreate the problem from start but I don't have enough time to research this on my own. I have uploaded three examples of the problem. The proceedure that I followed: - Editted template from fitOO that I downloaded as a base template to meet my requirements. - I then entered test data in the Film DATA sheet and Created the various charts (Examples have only one chart). - Changed the page format to landscape/letter. - Saved the template. I then used the template to enter the real data from the experiments. I have just installed RC5 and the problem still exists with the original template which I will upload as well. I have tried to recreate the problem from scratch but I cannot do it. As the problem exists in the examples that I have included I would be tempted to leave it open. As I cannot recreate the problem in RC5, the bug may have been fixed or I have missed a step that I have not done in the latest attempt. I have worked around the problem.
