According to OO.O 1.1 "Help" for chart axis "Scaling:"

"Controls the scaling of the Y axis. The X axis can also be scaled here for X-Y
charts."  

I find no way to control the X axis scaling directly. Anyway, why should you
have to go to the Y axis control to set X axis scaling?  An old Excel version I
just tried lets you click on each axis to set its scaling.  That is much easier
and more intuitive.

Hope it can be implemented in OO.o.

Hi Buridan,
If you like to scale the x-axis you need an x-y Chart Type. (As write
into the help) Mark the x-Axis, Menue Format Axis X-Axis you will find
the Page Scale.
