Description georginikolov 2003-11-26 02:21:21 UTC
Steps to reproduce it:
1)Start the presentation component
2)Create a title, chart slide
3)Double click to add a chart
4)Right click on the chart, select Chart Data
5)Change the value of one of the fields ( B 2 for example)
6)Press a button for sorting (Sort Columns for example)

The expected result is that the program will sort the values including the
last input.
The actual result is that the last input was lost.

Comment 3 bjoern.milcke 2003-12-08 09:23:01 UTC
For the new chart implementation, we will replace the dialog by an embedded
spreadsheet. Thus this problem will vanish. However, if we have to fall back
to the dialog for any reason, we have to address this.
Comment 4 bjoern.milcke 2004-04-28 14:05:28 UTC
We no longer use the Chart Data Dialog
Comment 5 bjoern.milcke 2004-08-11 13:39:11 UTC
according to http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=releases&msgNo=7690

We decided to use the old data editor, because of technical problems with using
Calc as data editor.

In the current version of the new chart (CWS chart2mst3) the sorting buttons are
removed.

->georginikolov: What do you think of the sorting feature? Is it something you
use a lot, sometimes, only for testing? In other words would you miss the
functionality if we would skip those buttons? (Technically this is no big deal,
it is just the question if we still want to have this)
Comment 8 IngridvdM 2006-03-22 09:14:34 UTC
removed wrong keyword new_implementation
Comment 9 IngridvdM 2006-03-22 12:30:10 UTC

Comment 10 bjoern.milcke 2006-06-23 10:46:15 UTC
Changed target to 2.x
Comment 11 bjoern.milcke 2006-12-14 12:20:25 UTC
Sorting is no longer available in the data dialog in CWS chart2mst3. So this
issue is no longer reproducable. Please confirm, and close.
Comment 12 IngridvdM 2007-01-18 11:48:17 UTC
