Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 23166
Horizontal and Vertical grid are not visible when a chart is completely colored.
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:19:50 UTC
When a chart completley covers the area the Vertical and Horizontal grid are not visibly represented on the chart. The functions can be selected and deselected, however it is not visually rpresented. It may be important to see corresponding x and y points in use during a presentation. One may need to see this during such meetings as a board meeting where there are many people who would like to see easily the visual representation of a graph. Other programs already have this capability so should open office Recreation steps: 1. Start Open Office Presentation 2. Empty Presentation type with default values 3. Blank Slide 4. Click on insert chart (graphical pie on left side) 5. Maximize the chart to fill the page. 6. Edit Chart options (graphical graphs on left side) 7. Change to 2d, Area and Percent 8. Now Try Turning on/off Vertical grid and/or Horizontal grid
I think this is rather a chart defect...
Hi, it´s possible. But you doesen´t see it. The chart is in front of the grids, and so you only see the chart. Tip: Try to make the Dataseries Transparency and you will see its work fine.
