Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 27909
File crash on opening after adding chart
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:21:00 UTC
I've made a new document, with some tables and some charts... After that, I saved the document. Next, I tried to add those document to a master document, but it didn't worked, OOO crashed... Then I tried to open the file only (not with the master doc), it made OOO crash again.... It mean I've made a document and I can't reopen it, nor add to a master doc or print !!! It must be a chart issue...
Created attachment 14566 [details] File that causes the problem
I didn't mentionned that when I scroll the document, the files crashes too...
confirmed with 1.1.2rc1 Win98 SE opening doc will crash OOo. crash report sent via crashmanager.
In addition to internal 116419
change Prio
change Os to all as max can reproduce in win98. Hi, Please consider to set target for this Issue. I think OOo 2.0 is reasonable as this P2. Thanks
targeted
Is there any reason why this issue it assigned to me?! It looke more like a chart issue
Thomas, please answer mba's question. As this is Chart it's yours. Frank
In addition to internal 116419 I set the new owner and fit the Prio.
The crash is caused by a chart with empty internal data. (The XML-file contains an empty table element). I fixed this for the current chart implementation. The new chart doesn't use local table elements any longer, so this should be no problem there, anyway.
Fixed in xmloff, which apparently affect both, old and new chart.
reopen for reassign
Please verify with the attached document
back to fixed state
Found fixed on cws sch02 using Windows and Linux
checked into the master->closed
