Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 32583
XML Import ignores chart:class attribute at chart:series elements
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:18:35 UTC
as a result, sx? files exported with OOo 2.0 will show incorrect if the number of lines in a bar/line combi-chart is greater than 0, or if there is a volume series in a stock chart. Actually, the current OOo 2.0 version still exports the properties "chart:lines-used" and "chart:stock-with-volume" for compatibility reasons, thus the problem does not occur. But in the long run, those properties must disappear fron those files in order to comply to the schema.

See Issue 32366 for the "stock-with-volume" attribute and Issue 32368 for the "lines-used" attribute.
moved target to next "product patch" OOo 1.1.4, as the timeframe for OOo 1.1.3 is already over.
Created attachment 17369 [details] Document which does not contain lines-used and stock-with-volume properties
To test, you can use the attached taskdoc.sxc. This file contains the chart:class attributes at some series and no lines-used and stock-with-volume properties. When loading the bugdoc in a current OOo 1.1.3 or OOo 2.0 (<=SRC680.m51), the file is loaded incorrectly. In SRC680 m52 it will be loaded correctly (because of the integration of the CWSes oasis2 and sch03). And of course in this version the file should be loaded correctly. When the file is loaded correctly, you see a bar chart with four lines as left chart and a stock chart with volume bars as right chart. ->JSI: You should try to create a stock chart variant 2 or 4 (with volume) and a bar chart with lines (like shown in the taskdoc) with the SRC680 m52, when it is ready, and save it as sxc file. Loading this file in this CWS should then succeed.

IMO it is okay but it would be great if you as chart expert could also verify it in the MASTER and close the issue then. Thx!
