Description richlv 2004-11-01 09:16:41 UTC
in some cases some charts that have some values at "0" are displayed
incorrectly. they have a columns top line below x axis, so that they seem to
have a negative value. this is purely displaying, because zooming and scrolling
adds/removes this [d]effect :)

attached is a screenshot. no testcase possible, because this probably depends on
resolution and a ton of other factors.

of course, richlv is not a real name :)

about reproducing it - i can't give you exact steps, because i can't even
reproduce it myself on will :/

i believe it depends on monitor, videocard, driver, windowing system and
probably a lot more...

what i was using :

slackware linux-current, kde 3.3.1, x.org 6.8.1
fujitsu-siemens lifebook c-1020
s3 vt8375 with x.org "savage" driver at 1024x768/24

i also remember seeing this on another computers some time ago (but then i
missed the opportunity to make a screenshot).

as i said, this shows up pretty rarely and goes away after changing zoom level
or scrolling, but there are cases when this problem shows up often - like that
one document. but it seems i have deleted it...

I agree that this one may only happen in a very specific framework. I will have
a look.

Sorry,
I'm not able to reproduce it. Maybe the S3 chip causes the problem. It would be
just one more issue that only comes along with this graphics adapter.
I have to set it to 'works for me'.

@ALL (especially owners of S3 graphic adapters): Is somebody having the same
problem?

Best regards, Peter

@richlv: Sorry,
seems to be not reproducible. Feel free to reopen this issue if you can tell
what exactly happened.
