Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 37941
Chart misses lines when get moved with sheet
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:22:00 UTC
See the attached spread sheet which contains some chart produced by star sigma function. Please move the sheet to new document and see the chart. Lines will not be visible in the chart. There is also an presentation attached which explains the steps.

as discussed
As discussed means: If a Chart got its data from its data from the "Chart Data" dialogue/source and is then copied as an OLE object to Calc spreadsheet and then again copied from one sheet to another sheet in this table, the data is lost. This applies to version 1.0.0. It is fixed from 1.0.2 on.
Verified and closed.
There was a misunderstanding which led to closing this issue. Therefore I must re-open it.
FT: This issue is *not* fixed (as stated before). All data relations get lost once an OLE object (Chart) is copied twice. Currently there is no fix nor workaround for this issue and given the feedback of the responsible developers there will be no fix in 2.0 possible, either.
FT: Due to a misunderstanding on the source of the problem I will re-open this issue
FT->NN: As discussed with Niklas, this issue is not grounded on an (non-fixable) OLE problem but on a copying issue within Calc. Therefore handed over to you to be fixed in 2.0. Thx a lot!
To end the confusion: The problem is that charts which don't take their data from sheet cells lose the data when the whole sheet is copied to another document. It's fixed on child workspace "calc26" (will go into OOo 2.0), changed: documen9.cxx 1.26.86.1
reopening to reassign
reassigning to QA for verification
