Rendering or resizing a simple line graph with a lot of data points can be very
very slow.  Plotting a time series with 5000 data points may take 20 seconds or
more.

As a workaround, it will render much faster (<1 second) if you add a column of X
values 1,2,... and make it an XY graph.

Still, there's no reason for the line graph to be so slow.
