Description umichlinux 2005-04-07 05:23:47 UTC
It is not clear when creating an XY chart what sets of values are being used for
the various x and y values. The way it seems to be working for me, it uses the
first selected column as the x-values, and all the following columns it
interprets as sets of y-values. The data that I have is several different
series of both x and y coordinates, so it is currently impossible for me to plot
all the series together on the same graph. If it is possible, and I just don't
understand how it should be done, then an explanation should be added to the
help files. I hate to have to revert to MS excell to do the type of graph that
I want.

Hi umichlinux, this is the x-th duplicate of the very same request ...
Please see issue 3997. There, jumbo444 describes the current solution. Here in
short:

Print the data series' below each other, not beside each other.
x1| y1 |
x1| y1 |
x2| | y2
x2| | y2
