Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47086
Excel Chart x-Axis not aligned correct
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:21:01 UTC
I have an Excel-Spreadsheet created with MS Excel 2002. On the 1st Chart the x-axis is nit aligned properly. The x-Values are named "Row12", "Row13", "Row14" instead of the correct Values in the tabel. I will attach the .xls file so u can check it.

Hi Reporter, "chat1" is completely empty for me with 1.1.4 and also 2.0 Beta. Can you please attach some screenshots?

Yes rainerbielefeld, i had this problem too with the old versions. I first wanted to add an issue for that (empty charts), but then i downloaded v1.9.91 and i saw that these Problem has been fixed. I added a Screenshot of how it looks like with the actual Snapshot-Build v.1.9.91
I can not reproduce the problem with 680m91 For me the view of the chart is exactly the same with 1.1.4, 2.0Beta, 680m91. Reason for the damaged chart view might be the data range area: In OOo I see '$Daten.$A$1'. Reporter, what is the structure in EXCEL?

I can confirm that OOo does not show the chart as it is shown in EXCEL. Seems to be a problem with interpretation of data range in EXCEL file? May be ms_interoperability - problem?
-> Rainer: your assumption are correct. The three series into the Source Data Dialog are the problem. Issue 3997 deals with this behaviour. -> monzoom: closed as duplicate *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 3997 ***
