Description chriscuk2 2005-04-10 12:21:12 UTC
Logarithmic scale minor interval settings are not saved and always revert to
automatic at value 1.

If setup in a writer document, with automatic minor interval switched off and
set to 10, after saving and reload the setting reverts back to automatic on and
a value of 1, which is a useless value as the minor tick marks do not show at
this level.

The same effect is apparent in a spreadsheet if you set up as above then copy
and paste the chart to another worksheet the minor scales disapear.

Maybe a temporary fix would be to make the automatic value set normally to 10?

Both aspects confirmed as described with OOo1.9.91+WinXP_SP2.

Hi Bjoern,
pls have a look.

small correction: the scale settings are saved correctly. But the import does
not work. This is probably related to the fact that for log scales we don't have
a (decimal) minor interval but a (integer) number of subdivisions of the major
interval. For this the Open Document format has a new attribute
interval-minor-divisor which probably is not impoerted correctly.

Again small correction: the export and import were both wrong for logarithmic
scaling. In logarithmic scaling the help step is identical to the minor-divisor,
and therefore does not have to be transformed.
