Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6011
Can't create B&W chats, and can't open B&W charts from Excel
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:22:44 UTC
OOo just dont have this feature, that is a MUST to the academic user. When you use chats in scientific periodics or any medium, you have to use B&W chats and graphics. When you try to open a B&W chart made on excel the chart turn out to be only White. (empty)

Hi Oliver, this is not a bug but a feature request. So I set the flags. Frank Hi Falko, 1 4 u Frank
Hi Oliver, I've learned that it is possible to use hatches in charts. Just select the chart (black handles) by double clicking on it. Now select the Data series you want to alter (green handles). Open the context menu and choose Object properties. Select the tab page Area and activate the radio button Hatching. Now select the style for the selected part of the chart. This Issue is still a feature request, as we can't import such Chart types from Excel, so re-assign it to Daniel who is just working on it. Frank
