Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 64494
Blue range rectangle in Calc shows wrong ranges if series have been re-arranged
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:19:23 UTC
When you have a bargraph (or any other diagram), when you select a serie and move that serie forward/backward, the blue rectangle showing which serie is selected is associated to a wrong serie. For example, in the attached file below - double-click on the diagram and select a serie for example the A serie (you should then see small green points on the columns). - click right and try to re-arrange the A serie (arrangement > bring backward/forward). - Now, the selected serie is still the A serie, but the blue rectangle showing the values from the serie is associated to the C serie.

Changed the Summary for finding this issue more easily. Reason for this behaviour is probably, that the indexes of ranges passed to Calc are not adapted to the rearrangement. In the new implementation this should be fixed, as there the range string belonging to a series is passed to Calc rather than an index.
Changed target. Won't fix that for the old chart.
Changed Target to 2.x
Fixed in Chart2 Milestone 9
->KLA: Please verify in Milestone 9. Note that the selection should also be kept at the series you moved. That is another issue. This one is only: show the blue rectangle for the selected series correctly.
changed target to 2.3
