Description jdoege 2006-06-08 22:39:26 UTC
The width of a data-line in a chart generated from a spreadsheet is wrong
("zero") when this chart is embedded in a drawing or text.

This problem shows up

- for solid, dashed and dotted lines with a linewidth smaller than 4 (display)
- for dashed and dotted lines with a linewidth smaller than 4 (pdf).

Solid lines are printed correctly in PDF-files.

This has nothing to do with the container document type. Instead, the problem
shows up for the replacement meta-files only. For the meta-file to be visible
you have to leave the inplace-active mode of the chart (press Esc).

So, the problem is that the metafiles shows lines with widths below 0,04cm as
hairlines.

->PL: Please have a look or forward to a responsible person if you are not doing
meta-files.
For seing the problem you have to zoom the chart in the attached calc document
(you can use Ctrl-Alt Scrollwheel for this).

pl->sj: this would be a problem of the drawing layer ? May also simply be a
problem with rasterization (which is also done in the drawing layer ?)
Comment 5 sven.jacobi 2006-11-03 14:23:23 UTC
changed target
Comment 6 Martin Hollmichel 2007-09-12 13:07:43 UTC
move to 3.x target according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
Comment 7 IngridvdM 2009-04-28 16:49:31 UTC
re-checking
I could reproduce the problem also on windows OOo 2.0.4.
But it has vanished since OOo 2.3. it might be neccessary to recreate the
metafile. To achieve this double click on the chart and then click outside of
the chart again.
