Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 66819
Regression curves: new type "moving average"
Last modified: 2013-09-25 20:41:39 UTC
New regression curve type "Moving average", that calculates each point on the curve as average of the previous N data points, where N can be set by the user. Example: Chart contains 6 data points, Point1 ... Point6. Moving average regression curve based on 3 data points will start at Point3 and will contain 4 points (Point3 to Point6). For each Point(X) on the curve, the average of Point(x-2), Point(x-1), and Point(X) is calculated.
type/target
Thanks for the explanation. This will probably an issue after the first integration of chart2.
changed target
The first chart2 has been released, so is it time to set a target? :)

reset to new
Remember to also add Date support, so that it is possible to get moving average for the last N days, no matter how many datapoints you have in that interval.
