Wizzard: Pictures confusing between Lines and XY plot
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:20:58 UTC
Lines and XY plot are two types of diagram different, but some users (may be most of them) think they are the same. To avoid confusion between the two types, I suggest to change three pictures in sub-type of XY plot: - lines only - cubic splines with symbol - B spline with symbol to indicate in these pictures that X values may be different for the three curves. For instance, for sub-type "lines only", I propose to remove the symbols of the picture for "lines with symbol" (see attached document).

Sounds like an enhancement for me. I will change the type. @ iha: what do you think?
This problem is addressed already in the new wizard and charttype dialog in the ongoing reimplementation of the chart. I attach two images to show the current state.

That looks perfect for me! The problem will be solved. Sorry, I should have checked the new chart before opening this issue.
