it would be nice to be able to have the axis scale aligned automatically at the 
column/row border so for example (interval length=1, min=0, max=10) x-axis 1 is 
at the column C/D border, 2 is at D/E, 3 at E/F and so on.

As the width and height of the spreadsheet cell can be different one next to
another, this feature is not possible in common. As you yourself mark this issue
with lowest possible priority I will set this to WONTFIX. But thank you for the
input of your idea.
