@utomo: Maybe you should switch over to the realistic Scheme (3D View Tabpage
Appearance).
So i will close this Issue. Feel free to reopen this Issue if you disagree.

Hi utomo99. I see you put a lot of effort into testing the chart. Thanks for
that. As we are currently reimlpeemnting the whole chart it would make much more
sense when you could invest your effort into checking the reimplementation. A
preview version is available for download here:
http://graphics.openoffice.org/chart/chart.html
When you find an issue that is worse than in OpenOffice.org OOo 2.0.4 please
start the issue summary with 'new chart:'. Thus we can identify regressions early.
When you submit further issues please describe only one problem each. This issue
already contains to many different things. And please describe additionally in
words what the problem is. I need to guess here already:
1) 3D diagrams are somehow streched and deformated -> should be fixed in the
reimplementation with CWS chart2mst3.
2) The extra lines from the example images did not occur in the reimplementation.

I give this issue back to you. Please check it against the reimplementation. If
you still found something from herein not fixed please submit a new issue with
only one problem described. Please also use a more descriptive summary. On the
above web site there are also issue queries offered where you can check for
duplicates before writing new issue.

Thanks a lot.

Hello Iha,

Thanks for your explanation.
I am currently testing using OOo 2.1 with hope to get better OOo 2.2.
I still note yet try the new chart because:
- Now I mostly got slow internet connection, and downloading 114Mb is too big,
especially if the new version will come soon (when is the milestone 10 planned? )
- I did not understand if the fix for the new chart will become available in OOo
2.2 or not ? In my opinion waiting for OOo 2.6 is too long.

If I have chance I will download the new chart test.

I did not agree that this resolved as invalid, as I test using OOo 2.1, if this
is not exist on new chart, better to close it as WFM, instead of Invalid.
and this issue is only about one problems, too many extra lines, which I dont
know the result, maybe is the drawing engine which is too old in OOo or other
problems causing this. but It is nice when hearing that you say already fixed in
new chart.
Tony, for a moment can you please help test this, with new chart. is this really
good looking at the new chart ? or look like what I attach.
Thanks

Comment 28 IngridvdM 2006-11-21 10:01:20 UTC
I set this to invalid because the issue does not concentrate on one probelm and
does not describe that single problem. The summary is much to generel thus users
who are so kind to search for duplicates have much more effort to guess about
your issue.
I understand your problem with big downloads but it does not help the chart
development when you test the old version.
Comment 29 IngridvdM 2007-01-05 16:12:27 UTC
No superfluous lines on 3D objects anymore. Fixed in CWS chart2mst3 Milestone 10
See http://graphics.openoffice.org/chart/chart.html for download.

The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the
last 1 year+. I am therefore setting this issue to 'Verified' as the first step
towards Closing it. If you feel this is incorrect, please re-open the issue and
add any comments.

Many thanks,
Andrew
