In the XY diagram, the icon to modify the data range is not lacking.

It is also not possible to direcly select the cells without clicking on this icon.

->Tony, please don't put 2 things in one issue. The second one is a feature
request. I will ignore it here and concentrate on the first.
I assume by 'not lacking' you mean the button is disabled?
That problem is fixed in the respin see Milestone 9b.

Fixed in CWS chart2mst3.
