Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 73631
Chart in .xls - "Break" in Text flow for X Axis is not saved
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:20:30 UTC
I have a diagram with 2 axes X and Y, the X one representing some dates. When I want the captions to be turned by 90 degrees, I turn the "break" off (it's in the last inset of the axis options). However, when I save&exit and then reopen the file, the break is on again.
wrong component, changed to Chart
grand_sbor, please attach problematic file.
Created attachment 42289 [details] The requested chart
Confirming with OO 2.1 on WinXP. Repro steps - open attached file, second sheet, double-click the chart, r- click the chart, choose "Axis", "X Axis", Label tab and clear "Break", click OK, save the file and close. Reopen the file - "Break" checkmark is there.
Also happens with m199.
Also, if you try to add the average for any of the rows, the same thing will happen. Save and exit, then reopen the file - there are no lines.
Hi Ingrid, pls have a look.
You are saving to the alien format xls. That file format is not capable of the feature.'break' for axis label. While saving you got an according warning, that some things might get lost. You need to ask MS to offer that feature in their fileformat, otherwise it can't be saved, sorry.
closed - as cannot be fixed in OOo
