1. Create a pie chart with at least 2 data points
2. select the series of the pie (click once on a segment) and format its border
style to "none".
=> The segments are shown without border. In the legend the key symbols also
have no border.
3. Pull out one segment (which creates a data point object with own properties)
=> The segment still shows no border, but the legend shows a border around the
legend key.
