Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 76604
Can't set labels for data sets other than first row/column
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:18:54 UTC
In data graphs, in the spreadsheet app. of OO, it's not always true, nor desirable, to have the x/y labels in the top row/column of the data set. Especially on very large and/or complex data sheets the labels could be everywhere in the sheet and it could be useful to be able to set those labels based on configurable intervals using an input box and a range selection button, like seen in others spreadsheet applications.
This is one of the most important changes in the new chart. It will be possible after integration of the CWS chart2mst3. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 3997 ***

@ciampix You can find the new implementation of chart being developped there: http://graphics.openoffice.org/chart/chart.html The best thing you could do to help, is test the new module and validate it works for you.
