Reproducing the bug:
1) create a chart and select a chart type
2) Entering the data range
If you reduce the dialog box so that only the inputfield (as expected) is visible.
But after reducing the dialog box, no inputfield is visible. If you then press
'Escape', the dialog box appears again.

As you've correctly said, it's an Chart Issue. Changed Component and re-assigned.

@marwinbutcher: sorry, can't reproduce. After i reduce the dialog box i get the
"small inputfield that include the shrink button and the highlighted data range".
