Description gregtoombs 2007-10-04 04:53:39 UTC
When you create a chart in calc, select the chart, and copy it to another
location (for instance, a writer document), the setting for x-axis minor
interval always seems to revert to "default".

wrong component, changed to Chart and re-assigned
Comment 2 kla 2007-10-11 06:12:50 UTC

I disagree. 75453 is regarding the copying of diagrams, etc. to other
applications. This regards the copying of charts from one OpenOffice application
to another. This also is not a feature addition report, but a bug report.

@bm: one for you.
Comment 5 gregtoombs 2007-10-20 23:23:36 UTC
It's worse. If I save an oo spreadsheet with charts that have custom minor
intervals and close it, then when you open it and double-click on the chart, the
settings for the minor interval are lost.

So, this sounds at least consistent, because the Clipboard uses Save/Load as
well. It seems that the manual steps are written correctly to the file, but on
load they are ignored.
Comment 7 bjoern.milcke 2007-10-26 13:09:45 UTC
Problem is, we use a "major step" and "minor step" in the old API but a minor
subdivision in the file, so we write div=major/minor to the file. On load we
have to convert back to minor=major/div, but we don't know major if this is
automatic.

Known problem, setting to duplicate.
