combined stock graphs
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:20:55 UTC
If you have a stock graph (for example japanese candlestick) you cannot add other series of data and format as line or bars or both, because all the graph becames formatted as lines, it will be very useful to have this to add calculated data like media, mobile media, mhcd etc.
@prowlerxpla Can you please attach a sample with a REAL chart application to demonstrate your needs?
Created attachment 49817 [details] combined lines bars area stock graph
Attached an exemple file made with excel 2003, you can see data series "open" "min" "max" "close" which form the stock grapf formatted as japanese candlestick, data series volume which form the bar grapf, data series high-media and low-media which form the two lines formatted as x-y scatter and data series S&P-volume which form the area graph.
I tryed to open the attachment (id=49817) with ooo-calc, it is shoun very well but is not midifyble at all, you can add transparency and other but you cannot modify the type of grafic. For every data series it show the stock type.
May be possible to modify the window of "data range" and the label "data area" in the concept to be able to modify all the things there about the data area and axes like the attached file and the label "data series" in the concept to be able to modify all the things (the concept is grouping the data series for stock, color between lines etc..) there about the data series like the attached file. I think it will be very useful and usability will improve
Created attachment 49827 [details] data area window i would like
