Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 85005
show more precision in regressional anaylsis equation on chart
Last modified: 2014-03-02 15:53:46 UTC
In OOo 680m238 (pre-2.4.0) I display the regression function for an exponential curve (recently implemented in issue 7998). OOo gives the function f(x)=26.45*1.03^x while Excel 2003 gives y=26.445*e^(0.0252*x). When I work off both of these, OOo's displayed equation does not match the data well. Could OOo please show a little more precision? c.f. issue 84623 http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/50363/regression.ods
Hi Björn, what do you think about?

Link in description is not working.
The shown precision can be set in the dialog page "Number" of the properties dialog of the equation. Complains about not sufficient accuracy need an example. I close this issue for now.
