Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 86103
Order of range data
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:02:16 UTC
In Calc, plotting column data via Graph Wizard Line Chart: Graph Wizard>Chart Type>Data Range Calc plots column data from column top to bottom (left to right of the graph) ($Sheet1.$I$2:$I$4018), irrelevant to user specified inputs ($Sheet1.$I$4018:$I$2) indicating column bottom to top plotting (left to right of the graph).

@IHA: pls have a look if its possible to change the plots.
This is the way all ranges in calc are handled. It is not a decision of the chart in which order the values are given for a certain range strings. ->Niklas, is there something planned for the behavior of ranges in calc thus A1:B2 is not equal B2:A1 ?
Please attach spreadsheet.

Like most users who have some problem with a line chart, the reporter wants an x/y-scatter chart which has a _numeric_ x-scale where the x values appear according to their numeric value rather than their position on the sheet.
