Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 86465
Excel import/export: new chart error bar functionality
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:22:16 UTC
With the integration of CWS SRC680/chart20 (might become DEV300/chart20 soon) there are two new features available that can now be used by the Excel import/export filters: * The error bar style "standard error" is now available. The "ErrorBarStyle" property is now a constant with predefined values in css::chart::ErrorBarStyle. (namespace chart, not chart2!) * Error bar values (for y-error bars) can be taken from cell ranges. The ranges can be created via the data provider like it is done for series. The ErrorBar object implements an XDataSink for setting and XDataSource for getting the sequences.
Setting target to 3.0 ->DR: should be realistic as this is not UI-relevant, right?

->dr: Note that the enum css::chart2::ErrorBarStyle was replaced by the constant group css::chart::ErrorBarStyle. Please use the latter instead. As the Excel filter is the only place now using the chart2-enum, it would be nice to remove this file in offapi.
thanks for the hint, will use the const group
Created attachment 52492 [details] test document for import/export
fixed in cws DEV300/dr61 (OOo 3.0)
back to QA
Loading the exported error bar gives an error in Excel
reassigned to dr
This error occurs in Excel2007 with ServicePack 1 only (!), when reading manual error bars exported by Calc... Older versions of Excel (including Excel2007 without SP1) do not have a problem with these files. sigh... fixed in DEV300/dr61 (OOo 3.0)
verified in internal build cws_dr61
