Description robgaray 2008-05-12 11:33:48 UTC
Hi,

I am working on a project where some charts are created form a spreadsheet.

The data is stored in arrays in order to call the chart creating macro.

When the charts are created, and only if the charts are NOT erased before
closing the file, the file can't be reopened.

The file brokes only sometimes, and only in some computers.
The file attached is in spanish.
The problem-giving macro is TREEV2.Standard.Graficos.Generar_graficos (Leave the
default settings on the dialog)

@weiz, please have a look at this problem. Thanks!

I think the problem are the names of the embedded objects in the attached file.
For example the first name seems to be '1 QLICK R/A tapizado'. The '/' character
creates a substructure within the package what is surely not intended. All
charts with simple names without '/' seem to cause no problem. So please adjust
your macro that it does not create object names containing a slash.
Maybe could you attach a not corrupted file containing the creating macro thus I
can have a look which method allows the wrong names. Thanks, Ingrid.

That might be the reason. I now have a modified file tha creates the charts on a
new spreadsheet file. After saving that new file and reopening it, strange
things happen. It´s not important to me because i use that file just to print
it, but you might be interested in having a look.
