chart appears with no transparency after saving as .doc

1. Choose [File] > [New] > [Text Document] 2. Choose [Insert] > [Object] > [Chart] 3. Choose [Format] > [Chart Type] 4. Select [Pie], [Normal] and click [OK] button 5. Select the data series on the pie chart and choose [Format] > [Object Properties] 6. Click [Transparency] tab 7. Click [Transparency] toggle button and specify '50%' and then click [OK] button The chart in the attached Transparency50_inWriter.gif appears. 8. Choose [File] > [Save As] 9. Enter a file name and select [Microsoft Word 87/200/XP (.doc)] and then click [Save] button 10. Click [Keep Current Format] button in the dialog 11. Choose [File] > [Close] 12. Choose [File] > [Open] and open the saved .doc fil At this point, the chart is displayed with No Transparency. Please see the attached Reopen_inWriter.gif. Then when double-clicking the chart, the chart is displayed with 50% Transparency. Also, this problem does not occur when selecting [ODF Text Document (.odt)] in the step 9.

Thomas, could you check this issue with the chart team. I changed the target of this issue to 3.x. Currently only show stopper issues allowed to fix for OOo 3.0 final.
SBA: This issue has a target set but is still in state of "Unconfirmed". Please re-check with OOo 3.0 or younger if it is (still) valid. Then confirm it or set an appropriate resolution. Thank you.
