Description malchorne 2008-06-12 16:21:41 UTC
The X-axis labels on a chart are shifted by 1 cell when a chart in a
spreadsheet originally made in OOo 2.1 is clicked on using OOo 2.4 (and 2.4.1).

For example a chart which has x-axis labels which are references from somewhere
else - e.g. a data table with months in it - will display correctly when
opened - however when you click on the graph to select it the labels on the x-
axis are shifted one position. If you then open the "Data Ranges" dialog - the
range in the "Categories" box for those labels ends up being one position to
the right from the "Data Ranges" above.

I will try to attach an example file which demonstrates this.

Following further investigation today this does not happen in all
circumstances. It appears that the graph in the example attached have multiple
selections in the data-ranges - and this then allows the problem to happen.
However I have no idea how this happened - or why this would cause the effect
it does when the chart is clicked on.

I have also recreated the issue when opening a chart of this nature on a
machine with OO2.3 on it - so as an issue it may have been around for a while.
