In the chart data table, you can only select one cell at a time. It would be
very convenient to be able to cell a range of cells and to copy/paste from a
spreadsheet

Go in a spreadsheet and copy a range of cells with numeric values
Create a blank presentation
Choose a "Title, Chart" layout for the slide
Double-click to add a chart
Click on the "Chart Data Table" icon
Select the first cell of the range you want to copy your data to
Ctrl+V : the different values are all copied into the same cell
If you try to select several cells by holding shift or Ctrl down, it won't work
either
