Description tonyelke 2009-02-24 04:31:42 UTC
openoffice 3.0.1 OOO300m15 build 9379

XY Chart problem:
Adding Secondary Y axis to Chart and then removing it leaves the previous added
Y scale on chart even though the associated series was deleted.

The problem is not quite clear to me. Do you want a secondary axis to be deleted
in the very moment where the last series is deleted that was attached to it?
Comment 2 tonyelke 2009-04-25 00:38:25 UTC
Yes it makes good sense to delete the secondary axis if the last series that
belongs to it is deleted. Otherwise that extra axis is graphically misleading.
Also I am not able to delete the seconday axis when it is no longer needed.
Comment 3 IngridvdM 2009-04-27 09:09:27 UTC
@tonyelke, you can delete the axis by unchecking the check box for the secondary
y axis in Insert->Axes... .
I agree that the automatic deletion in case the last series attached to that
axis is removed is a reasonable enhancement. -> changed issue type

Fixed in CWS chart43 as follows:
If a series is deleted or is attached to a different axis than the old axis is
deleted in case no other series is attached to it anymore. The new axis is made
visible.

@Thomas, please verify in CWS chart43.
