Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 99605
title and legends look poor in Chart edit mode
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:20:59 UTC
This problem occurs in CWS:localization35 on WinXP and DEV400m40 on WinXP. However, it does not occur in OOo 3.0 on WinXP, CWS:localization35 on S10 SPARC/x86 and SS9 on S10 SPARC. 1. Open the sample.xls file graph-1.bmp looks ok. 2. Double-click the chart The title and legends are changed in graph-2.bmp. 3. Close edit mode The title and legends are changed in graph-3.bmp. When I tried to do the same steps using English strings, the legends were changed in the step 2. Please see the attached DEV400m40_eng*.png.

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.1 (DE) Multilingual version GERMAN UI WIN XP: [OOO300m15 (Build 9379)]" and can NOT confirm the reported effect for "sample.xls". I checked with "Ooo Dev 3.1.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOo310m2 (Build 9385)]" and can confirm the reported effect (fat, blurry, overlapping characters in legend) for "sample.xls". The effect remained after I changed font set to Arial. But I am not able to reproduce the problem with a self created similar spreadsheet with pie chart, and even if I copy / paste data tabel from "sample.xls" to my spreadsheet (and replace old data table), I can not reproduce the effect. @yuko: "sample.xls" has been created with MS EXCEL?
Yes, the sample file was created by MS Office. I hava attached the another file MSOffice_sample.xls, so please try again.
