Hi Ingrid,

here's a draft of the 'Scales and Intervals' specification. I sugest, that you
add the autmatic scaling behavior and put the file to specs.openoffice.org for
public review.

Thanks Jörg :-). I uploaded the first draft. But I havn't intergrated automatic
scaling because the last changes on that algorithm was done by Daniel. He has
this on his plan, but needs to do something more time critical first. I think we
can add a link in each specification pointing to the other specification later
on than.

one of the addressed features in this spec is issue 26869 (logarithmic major
intervals)
