Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 71684
import «Radar» charts (net charts) with corrected orientation
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:21:28 UTC
Radar.xls : « Radar » charts are different in Calc and Excel (ex : grid, labels position...) DR : Grid: different "automatic" behaviour between Excel and Calc (Excel filter sets "automatic main interval" flag only). Label position: The same, different behaviour, not a problem in the Excel filter. IHa : Here the new chart is not worse than the old chart. Thus you might want to submit a regular issue (not starting the summary with 'new chart:').

Confirmed. and also why the OOo Radar Chart using CCW, instead of CW (Clock Wise) on Office 2003 ? (for the Row)
set prio and target
->Daniel, starting with OOo 2.4 the net charts can have different orientations via a different axis orientation. Please use the new possibilities in the excel im-/export. Thanks!
fixed in cws DEV300/dr61 (OOo 3.0) Note that the Excel file format allows to reverse the radar rotation direction (X axis) and the Y axis, though this is not possible to change in the Excel UI. The Excel export filter writes reversed direction out anyway, and Excel will correctly show these reversed radar charts. I will attach an ODS file which can be used to test the export filter.

back to QA note that export of "Reverse" at X axis to ODF is broken, therefore the attached doc "i71684_radar_export.ods" does not contain a sample with reversed X axis. X axis has to be reversed manually before exporting this document to XLS format. Issue ID will follow...
