Insert a table in Writer (or use the one in the attachment), insert a chart and
in the ChartWizard apply multiple data ranges such as "Table1.A1:D2;Table1.A4:D4"
-> the data range is not correctly applied to the live preview (and the chart in
the end)

Everything is basically fine. There are only updates if the data range and data
source direction will result in suitable data sequences.
The behavior will be more obvious when issue 79013 is implemented for charts in
Writer.
